Ozymandias vs. Ponder

Both Ozymandias and Ponder deal with decaying of busted statues that have existed and lasted for centuries and how at one point in time, both of these busted statues were very exotic and very amazing to look at. For example, King Ozymandias from his busted statue looked like a very powerful and controlling king that had many people bowing down to him. But after centuries, his power is no longer special to anybody and he has decayed just like his statue has been busted up and thrown along the sand. Also the reference to sand in both Ozymandias and Ponder could relate to the sand timer and how the sand relates to the length of time that has passed from when Ozymandias was in power. In Ponder, the same ideas have been discussed about time and the decaying of statues and the breaking down of time in general. The difference between Ozymandias and Ponder is the different perspectives used in each poem and how these perspectives paint different views of how each decaying occurs in time.
